The Jewish Community Foundation of Central Pennsylvania is a donor-centered charitable agency dedicated to accumulating enduring assets to support the stability and continuity of Jewish life in Central Pennsylvania and elsewhere. The Foundation professionally administers lifetime and testamentary giving plans designed to:
Assist individuals in achieving their personal charitable goals in the most tax-advantaged manner.
Accumulate permanent, endowed resources for use in supporting special, emergency, and future needs, particularly those not provided for by the Jewish Federation's annual campaign.
Through the Jewish Community Foundation, grants are provided for nonprofit organizations, both Jewish and non-Jewish, which help to meet the social, cultural and educational needs of our communities.
The Foundation's assets consist of donations of cash, securities and other assets made by individuals, families and organizations. By utilizing the services offered by the Jewish Community Foundation, donors can further their tax and estate planning needs and support their philanthropic interests while improving the quality of life in their own community and elsewhere.
The Foundation is governed by a Board of Trustees chosen from the leadership of the Jewish community. An experienced staff oversees administration, management, distribution and marketing of the funds. Professional investment counselors are employed to advise and assist in maximizing returns within rigid parameters of safety.
The Jewish Community Foundation is the future strength of our Jewish community. Your participation will ensure a stronger Jewish community for generations to come.
