<\/span>For over 26 years, JFS has been committed to addressing and meeting unmet and emerging need of individuals and families. Our motto, Caring for You, For Life, is fitting as we serve the needs that range from young families to individuals 85 and older, who constitute the fastest growing population.<\/p>\n

Our vital services are concentrated in four major areas. Wise Options- Aging\u2019s Challenges, Your Choices addresses comprehensive older adult needs. Our care management services focus on care coordination and transition management. Our Staying Connected program provides escorted, door through door transportation for health care appointments and essential errand to older adults. We want to help older adults be able to continue to live in their longstanding residences when personal driving is no longer an option. Project Manna is our supplemental food pantry and safety net program. The Parenting Place provides tips and tools for effective and enjoyable parenting, stressing the importance of clear communication and expectations. JFS staff provides the expertise needed in all of our service areas.<\/p>\n

JFS strives to empower individuals and families to move toward self-sufficiency, supports aging with dignity and fosters community connection and engagement. We are dedicated to building meaningful relationships with clients, volunteers and organizations throughout York.<\/p>\n
