Close to Philadelphia and New York, this Central PA Jewish community with Harrisburg as its hub includes nearby niches of vibrant Jewish life. Harrisburg boasts a Jewish Home for older adults, a Day School, Jewish Family Service, a Federation, JCC and several synagogues. In the region are several synagogues, Jewish Family Service\u2019s, JCC\u2019s, and many active organizations including Hadassah and campus based Hillel\u2019s.<\/p>\n

Join our Central PA Jewish Community Foundation as we launch and implement the Harold Grinspoon Foundation Life & Legacy program. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity!<\/p>\n

With your excellent interpersonal skills, talents and amiable personality you will work closely with synagogue and Jewish agency professionals and leaders to help shape the future of our Jewish community and insure the success of the program. As our Legacy Program Director you will maintain the integrity of the Life & Legacy program as a \u201ccollaborative model\u201d of bequest development for Jewish Central PA.<\/p>\n

Working one on one with the Harold Grinspoon Foundation Life & Legacy Program professionals you will facilitate and help develop educational workshops and other programs for the participating organizations, donors and prospective donors, with the goal being to increase the number of bequest and planned gifts for Jewish organizations.<\/p>\n

Development skills, (planned giving would be preferred but is not required), excellent organizational and technical skills, including familiarity and\/or expertise with Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Web navigation and PR\/Marketing acumen and others as indicated above. Demonstrate familiarity with the local and global Jewish community. Organized, professional, inspiring and energetic when presenting the program to the Foundation participating organizations and to the members of the Jewish community.<\/p>\n

This full-time position will have primarily daytime hours, but will have occasional evening or weekend obligations for program activities.<\/p>\n
