Ricci and Mike Doctrow have been active in the Harrisburg Jewish Community for\u00a0as long as they both can remember; from day camp and itty bitty basketball, to\u00a0attending Yeshiva and cheerleading. They are life-long members of Chisuk Emuna\u00a0and the JCC. Ricci was co-chair of UJA, has been involved in Hadassah and National\u00a0Council. Mike has served on the Board for Chisuk Emuna, The Jewish Home, and\u00a0Jewish Family Service and is currently on the Jewish Community Foundation Board.\u00a0Ricci and Mike are Co-Chairs for the 2015 Annual Campaign. After getting married,\u00a0their involvement took on new meaning. They were active in the ELC and Yeshiva\u00a0when all three of their girls attended. They got to participate again in day camp\u00a0and all of the other wonderful activities available to those in our community. \u201cWe\u00a0grew up in the building, and then our kids grew up in the building\u201d<\/p>\n

When asked about their service to the community, Rabbi Ron Muroff said \u201cRicci\u00a0and Mike Doctrow honor the memories of their parents and other ancestors and set\u00a0examples for their children and all of us through their deeds of kindness and acts of\u00a0tzedakah, all done without any desire for recognition. May G-d continue to bless\u00a0Ricci and Mike and their family in the spirit of this prayer of Rebbe Nachman: \"O\u00a0Life of the world; Grant them a full life, a life which may be considered long because\u00a0it has been filled with right living. And considered rich because it has been filled
with holy acts.\"<\/p>\n

The community has been important to their grandparents, parents, and now their\u00a0children. \u201cRemember yesterday, live for today, work for tomorrow.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

The Susquehanna Tzedakah Society (STS) was
established as a giving society of the Jewish
Community Foundation of Central Pennsylvania.
Members of the Society have made substantial
financial commitments to Jewish community
agencies and congregations including planned
giving, endowments and other gifts. They are
sustaining the Jewish community now in central
PA, globally, and in Israel, and securing its
future.<\/p>\n

We thank and applaud them for their personal
commitments to provide significant financial
resources to support our Jewish community.<\/p>\n
