The Jewish Community Foundation of Central PA honors Temple Beth Israel’s Allison Siegelman

Temple Beth Israel in York, PA has a rich 138-year history passing Torah and Jewish traditions (L’dor V’dor) from generation to generation. We are proud of the services and programs we have been able to offer our members and the community-at-large throughout the years. The twenty-four founding families of Temple Beth Israel had a vision that has en-dured for well over a century.

temple-bethAs Campaign Chairperson, Allison Siegelman, along with Barbara Eagle, and a Campaign Steering Committee headed up Temple Beth Israel’s first major-giving campaign in decades. Thanks to Allison’s enthusiasm, energy and leadership we have secured much-needed commitments and support from those who call TBI their spiritual home. With Allison and others who share her vision at the helm of this important work, we know the Jewish community of York will continue to thrive for generations to come.

As our L’Dor V’Dor Campaign Chairper-son, Allison Siegelman helped to steer us onto the right path for planning for our congregation's future, and we are grateful for her stewardship. While we have only recently entered into the 'endowment' relationship with the Foundation we know how important this will be in planning for the next 138 years.

Chairing the first Capital campaign and Legacy campaign for Temple Beth Israel of York, there is no doubt that Allison Siegelman allisonis committed to sustaining Jewish Life in the community. Allison has played a significant role in the York Jewish Community as well as our Foundation. Not only is Allison passionate about sustaining Jewish Life throughout Central PA, Allison has been very active in stressing the need for unity, solidarity and economies of scale through a campus like approach of the Jewish Institutions in York.
